A friend of mine (whom I adore!) posted this picture (below) on her FaceBook page. It makes me sad to think that so many women hold out on their happiness until they find Mr. Right. I truly 100%-without-a-doubt believe that the only Person who can “hug you so tight that all your broken pieces stick back together” is Jesus. Believing that another human being can do this FOR you is a lie.
Eventually that person will fail and then where is your happiness?
Instead, seek a relationship with Jesus. Not just sitting in a pew in a building called church, but a daily walk with the Son of the Most High God. It’s worth the risk. It’s worth the investment of your heart and your time. And realistically, how could it hurt? Do you really think that Your Savior is going to say “no” to a relationship with you? He’s a sure-fire YES!!!
And when the time is right for a human companion to sweep you off your feet, being grounded in the LOVE of Jesus will only make that relationship–whether a spouse or date-mate–that much sweeter.
